Nominating CommitteeThe Committee meets about ten weeks prior to the next Annual Meeting to begin the process for the upcoming meeting. The Nominating Committee selects nominees for the various offices and positions to be filled at the Annual Meeting and chooses temporary chairpersons of the Nominating Committee, Pastor-Parish Relations Committee and Stewardship Committee to call the first meeting in the new church year. The nominations by the Committee in no respect limit the right of any member to make nominations from the floor at the Annual Meeting.The Committee consists of six (6) members, with one (1) member representing each of the following: The Diaconate, the Board of Trustees, the Board of Christian Education and Board of Mission & Service, and two (2) others representing the members of the Church at large, one of whom shall be the Chairperson. The members from the Church-at-large shall be elected at the Annual Meeting, one each year for a two-year period.
