Ladies Benevolent SocietyOn February 27th the Ladies’ Benevolent Society delivered to the Alfred Shelter twenty-four ditty bags for both men and women. We also purchased and donated ten bed pillows with cases which the shelter always needs. A most grateful thank you is received for this yearly project of ours.In March we contributed a generous amount of school supplies to aid the Seacoast Missions’ EDGE program. Twice a year we make a monetary donation to the following:
Opportunity Farm for Boys and Girls We also contribute to church and community projects. So far this year contributions have been made to the African Grandmothers project and to the three Wells Schools’ effort to purchase defibrillators. We are a small but mighty group and would welcome anyone who might like to join us. Meeting dates are listed in the Spirit calendar.

Ladies Benevolent Society Pot-Luck Luncheon September 9, 2010 The Ladies Benevolent Society invites ALL ladies of the church to a Pot-Luck Luncheon on Thursday, September 9th. The Luncheon will take place in the Ladies Parlor in the downstairs wing of the church and begin at 11:00 AM. Please bring a casserole or a salad. Dessert and beverages will be provided.
