The Youth Spirit

Greetings Church Family, We should all be looking forward to March! I know that it can be gray, dreary, and “blah”, but we’ve got some neat things going on at Church, so come on out and enjoy them :) First and foremost is the Battle of the Bands on March 13th. This evening will feature some great music from talents of all ages, a silent auction, and free refreshments. It’s always a great time, and each year gets better, so this year should be terrific! The music starts at 6:00 p.m. and all proceeds benefit the Youth Experience Scholarship Fund.

Youth Group also heads to Camp Berea at the end of March, where we will worship with youth from all over New England, dance to cool Christian music, fly down the snowtube hill, and much more! Be sure to ask one of the participating youth about their experience when we return.

In Sunday School, attendance has been down a bit over January/February, but not as low as in previous years. Thanks to all the kids (and their parents) who keep up attendance all winter. Students with the highest points on the attendance chart are Tyler and Lauren B. and Ryan S. Sarah S, Kadia and Kambrie T. and Corrin H. are racking up the points as well. Keep up the great attendance, kiddos :)
