See you then! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * PUT YOUR THINKING CAP ON! - In the past few weeks during Sunday worship, we have been encouraged to come up with a creative name for our upcoming Capital Funds Campaign to replace the spire and belfry, and to take care of some much needed and long-ignored repairs. To date we have received more than 21 proposed campaign names. To jump start our imaginations, a gift certificate to Mike's Clam Shack will be given to the person or persons who submit the winning name for our Campaign. So put your thinking caps on! Place your ideas in the little white church by the organ at the front of the sanctuary. You could be going out to dinner very soon! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP will be holding their Valentine's Tea on the afternoon of Tuesday, February 7, this year at 3:00 PM. in Fellowship Hall. February, the month with the heart, is the anniversary of Soup’s On. Each year hundreds of kind donors give a small gift each week at the Wednesday luncheon. Each year many local businesses extend their community giving to include Soup’s On. This time of year, when folks are worried about paying for last year’s Christmas gifts or this year’s taxes, gifts to Soup’s On dwindle a bit. This would be a wonderful time for you to open your heart to this amazing, loving church outreach program. February is Soup’s On Month. Please either send or drop your contribution off in the office or drop it into the weekly collection plate. Place your gift in a plain envelope or pew envelope, mark it AND your check ‘SOUP’S ON’. Your gift will help to provide a hot, nutritious meal in a warm and comforting surrounding to nearly one hundred of our guests each Wednesday. Contributions will be collected each week through the month of February. Thank you for whatever you are able to give. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * FROM THE BOOK EXCHANGE – We are again accepting donations. Please leave them outside the door of the book room.
